Delicious Chocolate macaroon oatmeal
Options
I make a very large bowl for my breakfast so feel free to cut in 1/2.
In a large bowl mix
1/2 cup large flake oats
1Tablespoon of cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
add 1 cup of milk [regular 1% or almond milk]
soak overnight in the fridge
In the morning cook 2 minutes in the micro give it a good stir and then 1 more minute
sprinkle 1Tablespoon of unsweetened flaked coconut on top, mix in. then
1/2 cup milk
so good
cal. 382, carb 53, fat 11, protein 21, sodium 182, sugar 18, {using 1% cows milk}
When you cook oatmeal in the micro it rises really high in the bowl so keep and eye on it and use a high sided bowl.
Don't try cooking it on stovetop, the milk will burn
