My First 5K!

So, in a couple weeks I will be running my first ever 5K race!! November 21st to be exact.

I'm super excited but a little scared. I signed up a while ago when I was running all the time but recently have not been running so much :/ I have lots of work to do these next couple weeks!

Also, I have not tracked my food and exercise in months! :( I don't know what has gotten into me. I figured jumping back on here could help me get ready for the race and feeling good about it. I feel like I need another push!

Any tips or comments would be greatly appreciated!

    congrats on doing your first race soon :) and welcome back to mfp

    you will be fine for your race, just try to get a few runs in over the next week or so, and there is no shame in walking! Have fun with it...

    Hi! Good Luck with your 5k!! Since it is your first one...I would suggest not having a goal time, just a goal to finish! :) You can always do more and have goal times! Get a few runs before the race, if you can. Try your best and enjoy it!!
