Recently bought some whey protein on advice, must have been havong a weak moment!

Now i am stuck with a tub of flavour i dont like. Truth be told I am just too damned cheap to just throw it out.

Any suggestions are more than welcome. It is meant to be vanilla but is very creamy, yuk....

Can you add your favorite fruits? A banana, some strawberries...anything to alter the flavor?!

The vanilla flavored whey that I use is very sweet. I usually mix it with plain nonfat Greek yogurt (1/2-3/4 scoop of protein with 1/2-3/4 cup yogurt) add a little cinnamon and dip fruit into it. It's still pretty sweet, but it makes a really tasty fruit dip. I just had it with some strawberries and grapes. I also use it when cooking/ baking. I make protein pancakes and protein banana bread with it. I can't stand to drink the powder mixed with milk or water though. Dashingdish.com has some awesome protein pancake, shakes, and muffin recipes that use protein powder.

Have you tried mixing it on water, rather than milk? IF its too creamy tasting, the milk won't help at all!
  • Tried with water, milk, smoothie and even with lime (that was a really bad idea!!).
