Confused! Stones and KG to pounds?!?

I've always weighed myself in stones. Weighed myself today on one of those machines at the pharmacy. It gave me the figure in two forms. 11.12 stone and 75.5 kg. I've been trying to convert this to pounds however I'm getting two different numbers. Stones to pounds converters are saying 155 pounds and kg to pounds converter is saying 166 pounds which is obviously a big difference. Can anyone shed any light on this? Could the machine have been faulty?

Why convert? Set MFP to metrics and just go by kg if that is how you want to weigh yourself.0

14 pounds = 1 stone
2.2 pounds = 1 kilogram.
11 stone * 14 = 154 + 12 = 166 lbs (as it's 11 stone 12 pounds, not 11.12 stones)
2.2 * 75.5 kg = 166 lbs0 -
There are 14 pounds in a stone. 11x14 + 12 = 166lb. The converter you used was probably treating the .12 as a decimal place rather than a number of pounds. It meant 11st 12lb, which is 11.85 in decimals, not 11.12.
Edit: x-post! What the poster above said.0 -
Part of the problem is that the stones method of measuring weight was never meant to be decimalised. 11 stones is 154 lbs so 11.12 will be about 156 lbs
However 75.5 Kg is 166 lbs
Would question the accuracy of those scales
ETA can't believe I didnt think of the .12 as 12 lbs lol0 -
