Just starting weight watchers

Hi all, I am 5'1 weighing 123 lbs I just want to lose a few lbs so I joined Weight Watchers Online. My mother recently joined and lost 30 lbs over a few months so I wanted to try it out. I am confused with the point system though because from what I understand 26 points is the bare minimum amount of points but, my question is.. Will I still lose weight with using 26 points or will this maintain my current weight?

You're already in a healthy weight range -- check out your BMI (Body Mass Index). You don't need to lose weight. You probably just need to do toning exercise to gain some muscle. Check out the exercise forums.0

I think a point is roughly 50 calories. You should be able to lose weight on that. I'd guess it's similar to the number MFP gave you.0
