I will make you feel better.

I have been stalled for over 3 months. Can't get the scale to move.

    Feel better?
    LOL misery loves company!

I have been weighing myself every 2 days lately. For a while it was once a week, but I am getting in a bad habit. I gotta stop it. Haha

Once a month is best, I think. Or at least every week 1/2.

if you're doing exactly the same thing, try doing something different. maybe your body is bored. strength training, a different workout?

I really think that every 2 weeks should be the norm but some people think that once a week keeps them accountable...which is great but daily doesn't work IMO. People tend to get discouraged if the scale fluctuates. Once discouraged it's easy to give up.

I started out with a bang also, then about week 6 I stalled for a couple weeks. I upped my cals by 200 and the scale started moving again. I lost consistently until about week 12 and stalled again for 3 weeks. I just kept doing what I had been doing. This week the scale jumped 7 pounds! I weigh daily, but log it once a week. Over all it averages out to 2 - 2.5 pounds a week so I can't complain about that!

Keep going! It will drop sooner or later!

depending on how much you have to lose in the first place, anything over 1lb weekly is awesome!
