Quick question, which holds up better, Jello or knox gelatin?
I’m experimenting making a fruit bar and want the strongest hold I can get, I see both sugar-free Jello and knox contain protein so nutritionally they are very similar (other than some artificial sweeteners in the Jello) the cost, I don’t know about since I’ve never bought knox but I would think they are similar knox being slightly more compared to no-name Jello brands.
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure knox is stronger since I think its used mostly for those "salads" and "molds" that you see on recipe cards from the 70's. Its also not flavored.0

Knox is unsweetened, so it is much more concentrated than jello if you compare tablespoon to tablespoon. If you use Knox, make sure to soften it in a little warm water before mixing it into everything else.0
