Casein Protein Powder Question

I know that casein protein powder takes longer to digest than whey. My question is, does it really make you feel full longer? In theory it would...but what has your experience been? Thanks!

But in the presence of other macros, the digestion is about the same...amazing how the body works, huh? This is why the Glycemic index for carbs is largely crap, because how many times do you ever eat one food item in a completely fasted state...
Now from a culinary point of view, casein in protein rich recipes, tend to "set" better, but that's it's only true benefit in isolation, in my opinion.
If you are having to use protein powders to meet your daily protein requirement, just look for something that meets your nutritional needs and like the taste that has a blend of both if you want.0 -
Thanks! I won't rush out and spend the money on a casein powder just yet.0
