Good morning all! I'm new to MyFitnessPal. I've been using Sparkpeople for years, but since I appear to be in a rut I thought I'd join you guys and shake things up. I'm an average middle-age gal. I have a husband, a 19 year old son at home, 3 dogs and a full time job. I love to workout, but my inconsistent eating habits (healthy one day, full of fat and sugar the next) are sabatoging my efforts. I'm hoping you all can teach me a thing or two about healthy eating and sticking with an eating plan that is doable for life. I'm sick of reading all the fitness magazine that want you to eat like a fitness model. I'm not a fitness model and I don't have room in my refrigerator to store a weeks worth of pre-cooked healthy meals. I wish I did, but I can't seem to get organized enough. I'm just an average gal who wants to eat healthy and fun foods that don't make me feel like I'm punishing myself. I'm really looking forward to recharging my efforts with you all. :flowerforyou:

I work in Boston and live just north of the city. Feel free to add me. I'm a firm believer of eating what you want in moderation, just set your goal (reasonably) and track everything. Mind over matter!0

I just came back from a 10 day vacation in Boston - it's an amazing city but I was exhausted from all the walking around. Everyone there must have powerful leg muscles - lol. I would never need to go to the gym again if I lived there!0
