ever wondered what to do with all those left over bits of specialty flour??
Make Crepes!!
This is a tweak of an Alton Brown crepe recipe
1/2 c chickpea flour
1/4 c quinoa flour
1/4 c amaranth flour
1 tsp ground flax
3/4 c Kroger Carbmaster hi protein skim milk
1/2 c water
pinch or 2 of sea salt
1/2 cup egg beaters or 2 eggs
1tbsp + 1tsp ghee or melted butter or coconut oil
whisk let sit 15 min
cook crepes over medium flame
makes 20 6inch crepes, 3 crepes is 95 calories and 5g of protein
can be used with sweet or savory
I just eat them with butter!!
