Are neoprene slimming belts (you wear for workouts) worth buying (do they work) or just another waste of money??

    My vote goes for - waste of money. You may see a little water weight loss in the area of the belt (sweat), but it is short lived. It will not make you lose fat.

    Yep - this^

    They just make you sweat. This isn't the same thing as fat loss or calorie burn.

    If you are talking about the reband type, they aren't made for weight loss. Their intention is to keek the joints warm while training, my like knee and elbow sleeves.

    Works to help shed a little water weight. I use one when I have sodium bloat. That's really it though. No other benefit.
