NOW HERE IS THE QUESTION FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DO NOT WANT TO READ ALL I WROTE BELOW...
How many calories should I be eating a day to recover/get my period back?
I'm 5'2, 18 years old weigh aprox 101-103 pounds and this is my life style.
Summer: I'm out of school so I'll go for occasional walks, but I pretty much just lay down and sunbathe or stay inside (But in July I go to tennis camp I'll have life haha)
I lost my period due to restrictive eating and haven't gotten it back.
Hello!
Just some info before I get started.
in 2013 I suffered from anorexia. I would restrict under 500 calories per day (give or take I binged and sometimes would eat under 1000 per day)
Anyway in September of 2013 I bumped up to 1200 minimum and since the beginning of 2014 have been eating 1500 max(except for binge days)
I know this is too few calories (Given the fact that I am 18 so I know I should be eating more than MFP tells me)
I have been maintaining a 101-103 weight with eating 1500 calories (I am 5'2)
The thing is though, I DO NOT let myself eat till 8pm and when I do I eat a huge amount at once (This is where my restrictive eating comes in)
For the past few months it had been working and I was fine with it, but lately I've been binging at night so I know this method is no longer going to work.
Along with this I've decided I fully want to recover.

Look for foods which are rich in ion and protein
If you enjoy/know how to bake then making your own snacks/healthy brownies ect and cutting them in small pieces to eat during the day helps
It important to eat little and often rather then one large binge a day if you are recovering
Have you tried to go on the pill? It helped me gain back my period along with a increased calorie intake0
