incline percentages

When I read about the incline through to forums it seems everyone else's incline goes higher than my treadmills. Mine goes to 10%
What I'm asking is do some treadmills just have a higher incline or can say for instance 20 on one persons be 10% on mine.
I know I'm not making much sense LOL
Sorry

Various treadmills are designed to achieve different inclines. Incline is a standard measurement in relation to a horizontal surface. So, a 10% incline is a 10% incline on any treadmill (or at least it should be).
Evidently your treadmill is designed for a maximum incline of 10% while others can achieve higher inclines such as 20%, 30%, etc..0 -
Now I know when I replace my treadmill oneday to get a higher incline. I didn't realize that when I bought mine0

I'd recommend measuring the incline on various models before buying. What the display says and the incline sits at in reality can vary widely.0
