Kitchenaid Stand Mixer

Hey everyone,
does anyone have a kitchenaid stand mixer and use it for healthy things?

I am probably going to be buying one pretty cheap from a friend, and what can I do with it that's healthy besides shredding chicken?

Can make your own whip cream. They have an ice cream attachment that would make good frozen yogurt. I don't use mine very often at all but you can also make low carb pancakes, cookies, and breads, depending on what type of diet you are on. I do use it to whip up some homemade fruit yougurt for my son sometimes. With just plain yogurt, a bit of fruit juice and fresh fruit. I am sure others might have better ideas, I just haven't found much to make with it that is healthy.

I use it for everything I bake! Which can be healthy stuff. I like to use it to make bread. I think you can get meat grinder attachments or juicer attachments for them, too.

My wife made a healthy banana bread with flax in it on Sunday!

I use it for a lot of things...A real Kitchen Aid mixer has loads of attachments you can get, too...I use it every Sunday at a minimum. I use the shredding attachment to process zucchini, and other veggies, the meat grinder to grind the game my husband hunts (make sausage and such, too), for beating, whipping and mixing things...I also use it to make pasta and ice cream/froyo, bread dough, pizza dough...

Mine is a professional series, and I've had it for ten years and its still going strong. I did buy one attachment that isn't Kitchen Aid, but I totally recommend it...It's a beater paddle with a rubber squeegee thing on the outside so I don't have to scrape down the bowl. I forget the brand, but I got it off Amazon. It's a plastic paddle, but its really sturdy. I think I've had it about four years.

I do recommend getting a cover, though, to keep it from getting dusty between uses.

My mixer and crockpot are two small appliances that get the privilege of living on my counter.
