Am I eating enough fruit & veg?

Hi everyone
We are all constantly bombarded with the "eat your 5 a day" but it was recently in the news that really we should be eating 10 a day. Who do I believe!?!?!
I usually have a smoothie for breakfast (a banana, 160g of frozen berries and 200ml milk), and a fish salad (with a tonne of greens) and 200g melon pieces for lunch then some meat and loads of veggies for my dinner. Is this enough? I'm trying to stay away from potatoes and carb loaded vegetables (because my body seems to turn this straight into fat!) but I feel like i'm already eating so much fruit and veg to the point that my sugar intake on the fruit is causing me to go over my daily allowance. Is there such a thing as low sugar fruit?
Can i have some sensible advise as i don't know if i'm coming or going anymore!
Many thanks to all who reply.

I eat berries with breakfast (sometimes an apple or melon but usually berries), an apple, pear or peach with lunch AND usually at least 100 but up to 200 grams of veggies, and I eat 100-200 grams of veggies with dinner, and sometimes berries, melon or veggies like carrot sticks or celery for a snack and night.0

I think it is more important to hit your macros (carbs, fat, protein) to make sure your body gets the proper amount of nutrients and not go over your calories limit as opposed to worrying about a random 5 a day number. The 5 a day recommendation won't do any good if you are overeating.0
