Hey My name is Jayne and I am not really new to this , but im coming back for the first time in quite a while. I have been very overwieght my whole life . About 2 years ago my doctor gave me a speech about why i need to lose weight and It actually did inspire me to make some changes. I found myfitnesspal , and I lost about 60 lbs . I never felt better about myself, I was on top of the world and I swore id never go back to eating the way I used to. Well here I am 2 years later and I have gained back almost all the wieght I lost. I feel awful and ashamed everyday. I wake up every morning saying to myself "today is the day!" today is the day I get back on my weightloss journey. And everyday I screw it up . I have to get back on track and I have no support at home. Anyone who would like to be my friend, I would really appreciate it . I will do my best to help keep you motivated in return!

First, feel free to add me.
Second, start by changing your mindset. For everyone here, it's one day, even one meal at a time. Get rid of the "I'm a loser" mindset and change it to "I can do this." You have done it already, so you can do it again, you just have to get back at it.
One thing that I've found that helps is to focus on whole foods -- meats, fruits, vegetables, etc -- and focus on getting nutritious foods as much as possible. It will have to be a conscious decision at first (and probably for quite some time), but try to go for fruit instead of ice cream most days, for example.
Focus on nourishing your body, first and foremost. When you're tempted to have a cookie, for example, think to yourself, "what nutrients does this provide to my body? Is it worth the calories and sugar?" If it's a trigger food -- one that you can't have "just one" without the impulse to get more -- ask yourself, "is it worth risking a binge for?"
When you change your mindset from "I can't have this item," to "I choose not to have this item," you'll be far more likely to succeed in the long run.0 -
