Feeling ALMOST defeated

okay ya'll...soooo I've been at a standstill with my weight and it's starting to become REALLY frustrating! okay, okay, partially my fault...I really HAVE to do better fueling my body and in making better food choices as well! I am the point where I'm either eating too little and/or eating the wrong thing! If I gain a pound I'll lose it, however it'll manage to come right back, I'll lose it and the vicous cycle continues! Weight loss is so hard for me!...Whelp, lunch=gym! :ohwell:

(did I mention I did manage to lose over 30 pounds after having a baby 7 months...yay me...it's still hard though, lol)

Congrats on your child and losing the 30 lbs after that! What are your current fitness stats? If you're not losing weight, are you getting close to your ideal weight? It gets tough at that point. There still may be progress happening. My weight has been at a stand-still for 3 months now. However, I've gone from 9.5% to 7.7% body fat. If I were only watching the scale, I'd miss that amazing progress.

I have a 7 month old too! Congrats on your new addition :) So let me say, losing weight after a baby is a totally different game than just losing weight. You have hormones and sleeplessness, and different nutritional needs/constraints to consider. With that said, terbusa has a point about measuring weight loss in ways other than by the scale. I've hit a wall after losing about 35 lbs, but I've been taking my measurements and I continue to consistently loose inches even though the scale really isn't moving. I know it's frustrating when things are happening at a snails pace. But stay consistent. This is the second time around that I'm having to loose weight after a baby. With support, the right nutrition, and the right activity I lost 40 lbs and had six pack abs after baby #1. So I have full confidence that I can get there again, I just have to repeat what I know works and not give up. You can get there, but you must stay the course. I'm happy to cheer you on... us momma's have to stick together :)
