Differences in calories for same thing?

When I search a specific food, if multiple hits show up, sometimes they show different calories, etc for the same food same servings..... new user so all help appreciated

Some of these are inputed by users - so they may be incorrect... I would suggest if you don't have the package to go off of.. chose one that is consistent with others.. for example if there are 5 showing - and 3 say the same thing I would go with that. Ofcourse you could always visit the mfr's website and see if they list nut facts on the item too.
I normally will chose the highest one if there are only 2 that way I am safe @ the end of the day.0 -
any food entry with a * in front of it means that it was entered by another user like us. If there isn't one, it's been entered by the website.
I try to use the foods with out the * when possible.
If what you're eating has a package, use what is on that package.
If not, I google it just to double check.

Also look for the foods with higher confirmations listed under it's name. Means others confirm the nutrients.0
