Now, I don't know if this has anything to do with my recent efforts, but it was still uplifting.

I went to the grocery store today, got only healthy items for planned meals in the next few days and get in line. Usually I'd go in just jeans and a baggy gamer tee. But today I decided to try to not be afraid of my body. I put on a blue sundress and some cute sandals I got on vacation. I almost never wear them because they're far too cute for my usual attire.

In the line next to me is a little girl and she keeps looking at me. I just smiled at her and said "Hi." She ran behind her mom and peaked at me from the side. She was probably about 5 or 6. I got back to just not paying attention, when I hear the Mom say, "Yes, she's beautiful, now help me unload this cart." I blush and look over, and the mom smiles back at me. The little girl hid again but keeps sneaking peaks at me.

I gotta say, I was at a lost of words. It really made my day. I haven't really lost much, especially compared to most, but that little girl managed to make me feel amazing.

That is so adorable. Plus children tend to compulsively speak the truth so I think you should be super happy with a compliment from one!
