I've been doing my fitnesspal for 30 days and exercising 5 days a week with a mixture of walking and swimming. Since starting I have had 2 periods I seem to start on a saturday and two weeks later on the saturday I got another period they have been heavier too I'm on the mini pill so I haven't had periods in months. Is this normal to have so many in a short time? I'm writing this feeling crappy and worried I'm getting a third period. Can anyone put my mind at ease? Will it settle? I was gonna give it 2 months to see if itsorts itself out. Please help!

It doesn't sound normal to me. If it happens more than a month I would go to the dr.0

I've asked my friend who is a nurse she said it can affect them but if it doesn't work out in a month or so to see doc. I think I'll do that. The pill I'm on I didn't get periods often so I'm thinking it might be my body adjusting to the changes of weight loss and new fitness routine. I didn't exercise much before. Thanks for reading. :-D0

I had a lot of iron deficiency problems when I was 16. I was put on iron supplements, was told to eat meat again, and because my dad was freaking out, he gave me more iron supplements. I had my period for an entire month, minus 3 days due to too much iron...0

I second (third? fourth?) the call your doctor advice.
I had a similar issue when I first started working out again... Mine showed up almost 10 days early, and then lasted 3 days longer than normal. After that weird cycle it went back to normal.0 -

I wouldn't go to the doctor straight away, periods can be irregular due to all sorts of things, especially if you have just started a new pill. If it's the same next month though go, but I wouldn't worry too much, they'll probably just ask you to wait until next month anyway.0
