I'm a 28 year old 5'2 female that weights 182lbs. I typically work out 5 or 6 times a week, doing cardio + strength training or just walking. At work I clean houses. A typical work week for me is anywhere between 12 to 24 hours of cleaning labor. I'm not sure whether to choose active or very active as my activity level. And whether I should be aiming for 2lbs or 1.5lbs. If appreciate any advice. :-)

Hi
If you are having doubt choosing between active and very active, just choose active for now. Choosing very active will allow you to have more daily calories. So instead, maybe just choose active for now, and if you get to a plateau at some point, maybe switch it up to very active, depending on your results, of course.
Also, I chose on my settings to lose 1 lb a week... only because I know that its not a race, and usually, the slower you lose weight, the easier it is to maintain because it is a more gradual loss.
I am a 23 year old female at the same weight as you, and also work out four+ days a week. So far, doing those settings have worked for me:)

Hi, I'm a 32 yr old female that weighs 183lbs. I also clean houses and do 45mins of cardio/weights 5-6 days a week. I have myself set to lightly active with a goal of loosing 1.5lbs a week. I almost always loose the 1.5lbs. (Some weeks a little more, some a little less) My cleaning days usually consist of cleaning for between 3-5hrs /5days a week and I also have 4 young kids at home that im cooking/cleaning ect for. I'd say try a setting out for a few weeks and then adjust tour settings based on your loss. Best of luck to you!0

If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal
Start off with Active and see how that all goes. Give it 4-6 weeks and then make changes as needed. Just remember that whenever you make any changes to your activity level or intake, to give it 3-4 weeks for your body to adjust.

You don't specify how much you have to lose but based on current weight and height I would say 2lbs a week is too high. 1.5 at most is what I would suggest.
