I have been at thidiet thing for a while now, Since April actually, and i did have a couple of months there where i didnt log in or anything but was able to keep off what i had lost. But I have my acct set to where i should be losing 2 lbs per week but have only been averaging 2 lbs per month and i feel like i have done good at doing my exercise regularly and keeping my calorie intake below what i should be taking in every day......I cant figure out why i am not losing it like i want.....this is getting really frustrating to me!!

Try changing your goals around... I started at trying to lose 2lbs... .that didnt work... then i changed it to 1.5lb then to 1 and still no change....
Im now set to maintenance cals and losing.... ? You just have to find out what works for your body... :flowerforyou:
By the way tho I think 2lb a month is still a nice loss and is a very good rate to lose at. Remember that the people who lose slower have a higher chance of keeping it off. :drinker:0 -
I'm with Megsta - experiment a little- 1 lb/wk is working well for me but I spent the summer and most of September just playing around with little things- setting a base diet to keep me full, most encouraging weigh ins, workouts I can stick with and even going over my calorie goal.
A lot of people on here tend not to lose weight when they use the 2lbs per week because that sets their cal goals at 1200 per day, and then to speed it up they come in under that goal to varying degrees. Going too low will signal to your body to hold on to fat to keep you from dying (everyone says the magic # is 1200 but since Idk where that # came from, let's just say, if you are sig under your calories but not losing weight- you should almost definitely be eating more).
Anyways, changing things up never hurt any one losing weight :-)0 -
could it be you're not eating enough?
for a while i was eating lower then 700 cals and doing 60 minutes of exercise a day, losing 0 pounds
one day i started eating 1200 a day and now im starting to lose weight.
if you're eating to little you'll go into starvation mode.0
