I am making some ribs tomorrow for my babe and parents. I've got them seasoned already but I'm still deciding whether or not I should cook them in the crock pot on low for 8 hours.. or in the oven for 4 hours?
Has anyone done both and got better results from one than the other?
ps. im doing memphis style

I've done both. The crock pot ones seem to come out more tender, fall-off-the-bone, style, but the oven one's have the crispiness people like on Memphis style ribs. I have cooked in the crock, then put them under the broiler in the oven to get the crispy I needed.
Personally, it'll be 90 degrees (F) here today, so I wouldn't want the oven on for 4 hours...0
