Losing My Mind

Okay.. So this isn't so much about weight loss as it is about mental health. My fiance, who I've been with for 3 and a half years, leaves in 12 days for Marine bootcamp for 3 months then co)mes back for 10 days, and then off again to his schooling for his MOS (job). I'm just wondering how I'm going to stay motivated and happy throughout this GIANT change happening. We've not been away from each other for more than a couple weeks before. I'm basically losing weight and toning up for him, because I want to look completely different for him on the day of his bootcamp graduation. I want his jaw to DROP. Any advice on staying motivated and keeping my spirits up would be greatly appreciated :ohwell:

Thanks everyone

Hi Chelsea! My name is Kim and I have lost 79 pounds in the past two years. One thing that has really helped me is being a part of a facebook fitness group. The motivation and support that I have found there is amazing. We have a few military "significant others" in our group who are in the same boat as you. We are a huge support for each other, and I thought that this might be something that would help you out. Let me know if you are interested.
