Headaches

Is anyone else getting really bad headaches? I know the detox process can cause headaches from coming off caffeine and sugar, but I've been watching what I eat for about 2 weeks now, and the headaches just started. At first, I thought it was from hunger, but I read that isn't really possible, but I still added an extra snack. This week I have increased my calorie burn, and have had two cheat meals, but only went severely over my calories on one day. But this is day three of a headache. Could this be due to change in diet, or should I just suck it up and go to the doctor?

  • Are you getting electrolytes when you work out / after you work out? I had headaches after exercise until I started drinking a glass of orange juice or a small amount of gatorade after a workout. Worked like a charm.

ETA: Otherwise, please don't put off seeing a doctor if you're not sure this is the problem, IMO.

They usually start before I workout. But it still could be an electrolyte thing. All I drink is water. I will had a cup of Gatorade or something and see if it helps.
  • I hope you feel better! And if you're cutting out caffeine because what you add to coffee adds calories, you can always try a low-caffeine drink to help, like green tea. Green tea also boosts your metabolism, so it will help with weight loss!

I have had headaches daily but I have learned mine is due to my neck/shoulders being so tight after lifting weights.... wish there was a magic masseuse living in my house....
