Looking for British friends or people who lift weights

Hiya !
Are there any British folk on here who want to be friends? Or anyone who lifts weights? I'm Louise, I'm 31 and from the UK. I joined mfp to help me lose a bit of timber (a stone or so) but I'm also trying to tone up too with strong, toned arms being the ultimate goal. Would love to see any success stories especially if you've built some muscle too, which will hopefully inspire me and keep me motivated!

    Yup im in uk I lift a bit and do resistance training im 29 and too looking to lose a bit of weight around 8lbs-12lbs

    Hi Lou, I've only been doing this a week, but have been going to the gym for a couple of weeks now and using weights as part of my routine! I'm not an expert by any means, but happy to share any tips etc.

    I usually do 20-30 minutes cardio, then alternate upper and lower body. Would like to lose about 1.5st, maybe a little more, but more importantly I would love to move a bit of weight from my waist, and maybe add a bit to my arms/chest. shoulders.
