Have you thought about home schooling?0

My cousin is getting her high school diploma through Penn Foster. They have a high school online program, and it's like $50/ month. Something you could do? Also, don't worry too much about fitting in. People are bullies. It's just what they do. I was really weird in high school. I mean, really weird. You just have to be cocky and not worry about them. Ignore them. It's only 2 years, and you're there for yourself and your education.
Best of luck.

This is something I have had to teach myself to live by. The thought of trying something new (job/school/even shopping at a store I'd never been in before) would leave me paralyzed with fear and I would just NOT do it because it was easier to stay with what was familiar and comfortable.
I did not pump my own gas in my car till I was 34. I was afraid I would do it wrong/spill it/ mess up in some way and someone would laugh at me. The older I got the more awkward it became to admit I didn't know how and ask for help. This is just ONE example of the many things I allowed myself to be held back by.
Then I saw this quote somewhere and decided to start living by it. I plan on getting it as a tattoo where I can see it (arm?) once I can afford to.
You can do this.
Do it for YOU, F everyone else0 -
This.
Never let anyone make you feel less than you are. If you let them under your skin, they've won. NEVER LET THEM DO THAT. There may some more colorful wording I would like to use because I was you when I was in HS. Tormented relentlessly, and made to believe I was worthless. I had students claiming I was going to commit a Columbine Style Act on the school (Going Columbine) because I never gave them the time of day. (WHICH NEVER WOULD HAVE HAPPENED. I'M HARMLESS) I IGNORED THEM. If they attempted to be physical with me, I didn't fight back, I just walked away. It wasn't worth it to me. They eventually gave up. During the bullying time, they trashed one of my Bicycles, I filed a report with the Local LEO (County Sheriff for us) about the damage to my bike, and the Law made them pay up or face criminal charges for vandalism. They threw lunch food on my truck and trash in the bed of it. I ignored it, that can be washed off. You have to just let them figure out that you can't be bothered by their actions. When they realize their stupid shenanigans have no effect on you, they will either give up, move on, or keep trying, but all you have to do is just keep doing the same thing. Being ignorant.0 -
It was a little before your time, but watch Billy Madison and do everything he does... Winning0

Does your post mean that you are 16.5 years old? 17 years old, maximum?0 -

MFP doesn't let you put in a number other than 18. User is still likely under 18.0 -
After re-reading the post, I still stand by ~18y/o.. Grammar is a bit poor, but that's probably due to lack of proper education in HS as he was mentioning.. Either way..0

Yes, look into online schooling.0 -
I suggest limiting your social time (it sounds like that works with your style anyway). If other students will just bring you down, you don't want to waste your time hanging out with them. Go to class, pay attention, do your homework, and do some extra studying / reading course materials to increase comprehension and do well on tests.
It will not be easy, but keep reminding yourself about your goal. As hard as it may get, it is worth it.0
