Hey guys

I have been running for about two weeks now. I started running to get a slimmer lower body and butt. But I have been running and I only feel a burn in my calf not my thighs or butt and maybe your not supposed to. I don't know I am new to all of this so of you guys could help that would be awesome. Also if I continue to run will it also help my whole body slim down?
