i make a homeade alfredo sauce and honestly its just not good for you in involves a ton of cream, cheese and butter to really get it thick and creamy i have made it before instead with light cream and margerine instead of butter but you still need tthe real parmesean cheese, its still not that much healtthier and doesnt taste as good i would suggest just making it regular and just portion control. Its ok to splurge every once in a while as long as u keep up the excersise0

I use Western Family Alfredo sauce mix and if you make it with a butter substitute and skim milk I don't think it's very fattening and it's pretty good. Of course not as good as Olive Garden or the like but still good.0

Try making a roux (white sauce) with melted butter, a little flour to make a paste and then add chicken stock instead of milk or cream. Really saves on the calories and you can do so much with it. Add some garlic and a little parmesan cheese for the alfredo sauce . We really enjoy it.0
