Why don't I see what everyone else does?

Ok....either everyone is lying to me or my eyes need to be checked because everyone keeps telling me how great I look but all I see is fat when I look at myself......I hate this...I wish I could just like what I see in the mirror!

I was just struggling with this myself this morning. It takes a long time for the brain to catch up. Our heads get stuck. I have to use external reminders.. like my BMI is now in a normal weight category, or that I'm wearing a size 6 jeans (I used to be a 14-16). I think you will have good days and bad days, but you just need to find reminders to counteract the negative talk!

A quick glance at your picture, and even my 16 year old son who was walking past me commented "Wow, she's lost a lot of weight". Yes, you have. Then I look at your ticker - OMG! 126 pounds gone? You are a trooper, my dear!

But there are times when the "weight" isn't on the body, and it's still in the mind. There are emotional things we all have to get through and past as well as physical ones, too. I remember all the years I started this journey, then promptly fell off & started eating anything & back to the sedentary life I was before. People kept saying "oh you are fine the way you are..." Ya. It wasn't until *I* got pissed of with myself that I started to change, and even now I have days where I'm glad I kept a few of my loose, baggy clothes.

Look at those old pictures - I mean *really* look at them. Put yourself back in those situations, how it felt having to struggle to get back up from sitting down, how it felt even driving (that's my big one!) and feeling how easier the seat belt fits now. How much easier is it walking into work from the truck? How much easier is it now getting & giving hugs? How much more energy do you have on a daily basis? How much clearer is your head?

You're beautiful, lady! Inside and out. Don't forget that!

You need a new goal so you can stop worrying so much about fat. Losing fat is an ambition. Where there is ambition there has to be an end point where you say "I've reached my target, now i need to keep it here". That's why people use weight loss It gives them an ambitious target. Health and fitness is about what you can achieve and not what you look like or what you weigh.
You sound like you have reached your goal, but still not happy with it. so you need a new ambition. But this time create and end point Where you say "I have reached my goal. I want to keep doing it, but i don't want go any further"
