So I broke my foot and Im in an aircast. I am on week 3 of 8 weeks. Well, I have already gained 3lbs!!!!!! Should I lower my calorie counts?? I am already set at the non moving mark on here, but it isnt making a difference. I admit I have cheated on the diet here and there but I didnt think I was overindulging....I guess i must be! Ideas on how to lose this weight with major work out restrictions??

You need to have a calorie count of a person with a sedentary lifestyle with no exercise involved. You need to go back into MFP, and recalibrate your settings.0

It is very hard not to gain weight during a injury due to it throwing you off track. I tell my weight loss students (I have two that are in the same situation as you) that you still can exerscize and most of all reduce calories down by 200 if you do not do your exercize. You can get hand weights and sit in a chair and work out abs, arms, and non broken leg!!!! Just keep on track:flowerforyou:0

I went in to adjust my settings and the calorie is the same....1200! Can I go below that?? I heard you should never eat less than that.....but in this situation do you think its ok to do like 1000? Also, I do have a pilates Dvd that I could just do the parts that dont involve pressure on my foot. Thanks for getting my wheels turning0
