and things are going well. I feel lighter but realise that's just because I'm not going to bed bloated and am actually waking up hungry for my breakfast. I last weighed myself about 3 weeks ago and was 346lbs I get my new scales today so will weigh in the morning. Really hope I see a loss and that I didn't got above 346lbs the last time I weighed. My question is how do you guys stick at it on weeks you don't loose or stay the same or even put on when you know you have been good. This is always my problem in the past and when I tend to cave! I know it's a life style change and will take a long time to loose 10 stone but I really need to find a way of sticking at it when times are tough and I feel so disheartened. Any advice would be very gratefully received!

There are two important things I have learned this time around....everything in moderation and patience. I started here on MFP just over 2 years ago. I lost 60 pounds in about 15 months and have been at a plateau since then. But what keeps me going day after day when I am losing and gaining the same 3 pounds over and over is that I am still 60 pounds less than I was when I started and the lowest weight I have been in 20 years. I eat some stuff that I shouldn't (yep...it is 7:48 in the morning and I just had a piece of chocolate), but that's ok. If I denied myself something that I wanted, I would fall off the wagon and those 60 pounds would come right back.
You are at day 4...think how proud you will feel about yourself at day 40 and day 400.0 -
Thanks hun 60lbs is amazing well done! My first goal is to loose 70 by Christmas and then the remaining 70 I will just work towards. I'm excited about weighing myself because I have been good as gold and stuck with it but I'm also petrified of being heavier than I thought.0
