When you see someone in a uniform,
Someone who serves us all,
Doing military duty,
Answering their country’s call,


Take a moment to thank them
For protecting what you hold dear;
Tell them you are proud of them;
Make it very clear.


Just tap them on the shoulder,
Give a smile, and say,
"Thanks for what you’re doing
To keep us safe in the USA!"

I would like to take a moment, on this Veteran's Day, to thank all of the brave men and women who are fighting for MY rights. The rights that many take for granted. I would also like to thank the very strong spouses and families of these men and women. Very often, we forget about the sacrafices that THEY make as well. I am a PROUD American because of you! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL THAT YOU DO AND HAVE DONE!

I want to thank my husband and hasnt fought once but three times for our country and to all the other vets that fought and fight for our freedom!!!!

I totally agree I'm getting ready to get my flowers and Flags and go to the Riverside National Cemetery and place them on my husbands grave he's the one in my picture. It's not just a day off for drinking beer and bbq's. Honor them fist then have a great day.
