30 Day Shred weights?

Hi all! So I'm giving 30DS another go, and here's one thing I've noticed: I can use 5 lb weights for most of the workout, but I can barely do the lateral raises (with side lunges) or anything similar with 3 lb weights. What size do you think they use in the video? And is there a reason I can't use heavier weights in that exercise specifically? Thanks for any help in advance!

    I believe they use 3 lbs weights for the 30DS. When I do it I always have my 3's, 5's, 8's and 10's depending on what exercise they are doing. I also use a variety of weights when doing her No More Trouble Zones DVD.

    I have trouble with that same part of the workout! I also swap out to a lighter weight for that one, but I'm making progress with it. I can *almost* do the whole thing with my 5's now.
