Weight gain after workouts?

Hi all,
I have recently started amping up my cardio routine and have also joined a bootcamp. First week I lost nearly 8 pounds, and the second week and I ended up gaining 2 from my last weight-in.
I know it's common for this to happen, but am I doing something wrong because I can't seem to get my weight down again even though I'm eating healthy and continuously working out? How can I flush out that water weight (if that's what it is)?

Sudden exercise or increase/change in exercise will cause your muscles/body to retain water. Water flushes out water weight but your body will release the water when it's ready. Have patience and provided you are following a healthy weight loss routine then keep going and your body will catch up.0
