Recently I noticed that I am constanstly thirsty. I cannot go an hour at work without filling up my 20oz water bottle. Soon after, anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour, I have to use the bathroom. Is this ok and normal?

  • you might want to see a doctor and get a glucose test or it could be a weak bladder, try doing some pelvic exercises and see if it helps.

Are you eating enough sugar? Weird question, but if you're low sugar, sometimes the brain associates it with being thirsty. Albeit I've usually heard it the other way around.

I've been on a low carb diet for awhile. I kind of fell off it but just restarted it.

constantly thirsty and constantly needing to use the bathroom can be symptoms of diabetes.... there are plenty of other possible explanations, it could just be the result of doing the low carb diet, but it's a good idea to get these things checked out with a doctor just in case.

    Have your blood sugar checked.
Any other symptoms? Nausea, hunger, headaches?
Check your blood sugar. Please. No joke. have it checked. It could be a fluke-maybe something else is going on but those are hallmark symptoms of Diabetes. (I have had Type I for 15 years)
