I started a Love Your Body challenge a few weeks ago. I didn't think it was working at first but all of a sudden I don't have the urgency to lose weight anymore. I don't feel the need to cut my calories so dramatically. Before I used to have to exercise every day to get some extra calories because living on 1300 cal is just not sustainable for me in the long term. I love exercise but I had this insane pressure to make sure I don't skip a workout because that would greatly impact my diet. I don't have that anymore. I exercise because it's fun and it makes my body healthier and stronger. I try to eat as well as possible, but don't have a mini panic attack every time those numbers turn red. It's a strange feeling. I hid myself at home for months because I was ashamed of my rapid weight gain but now I don't have a problem with my body. I love it even more now than I did when I was smaller. I still want to lose a few kgs mind you, it's just now it's not a do or die situation. I'd be happy even if I were to stay the same.
