tiles vs wooden floor for weighting scales ?

on the wooden floor my scale says 237.8 and tiles it says 239.2 which one would be correct ? the scales are flat on both :sick:

    Pick one and stay with that method.

    I suggest the lower one! lol But yes the most important thing is to show a downward spiral :laugh: I noticed when I had my scale upstairs it was lower than when I had it downstairs. for some odd reason

    Probably the measurement on the tile. The wood floor gives more. Imagine weighing on your bed.

    I only have tile but I always make sure to put it in the same orientation on the same tile. But... I don't know why I do this. Oh well!

    I think as long as you are consistent, it won't matter (for tracking purposes).

    On the padded carpet, I always get my BEST number. It doesn't matter where as long as it is the same place each time. My scale at home is different than my doctors which is different than the one at the gym. Unless you have a really expensive well calabrated scale it is only a tool to see what your trend is but the number can be off as much as 5 pounds.
