Core Work & Physical Therapy

I searched the forums but couldn't find anything useful on this. Please direct me to the link if its already in discussion. Thx

I have a couple damaged vertibrae (neck & lower back). Most days I'm fine.... but some days I'm in so much pain all I can manage is my physical therapy routine. This consists of 20-30 minutes of core work and stretching done on the floor using only my body weight. Some days the pain is more tolerable but still can't do impact exercises so I use the resistance tubes w/ handles to do leg lifts, etc

It doesn't get my heart rate up but it is often a 7-8/10 on a "how hard are you working" scale.

How do I log this in MFP? It's not so I can eat more as some have commented. 1) I'm truly working my muscles and it should count for something, 2) it helps me track consistency in my activity as I'm still trying to re-train myself to exercise every day after a couple years of half-assing it, 3) I can tweak non-PT workouts to compensate, and 4) it will help when I look back to see how I got rid of my muffin-top.

Thanks!
