I have hit my first plateau EVER. I have been cycling between 184 and 181 for the past month and a half. Deep breath… I think I need to relax I am too obsessive. I am contemplating switching over to maintenance and letting my body adjust to this weight for a couple weeks and then hitting it back into high gear. Maybe the mini- vacation will boost my metabolism. Still thinking about it. Any suggestions?

It has taken me 18 mos to lose 80 lbs due to plateaus. The first couple times I got really frustrated then I started embracing them and learnig to maintain. Now I maintain for 3-4 weeks after every 20 lost on purpose just to let my body adjust and then when I do kick it in high gear again weight starts falling off. So yes I think maintaining for a couple weeks would help you alot!!! Good luck!!
