I am about to create my own recipe to get calories per serving, the chicken I am using is frozen. Do I weigh it frozen or wait for it to defrost?

Wait for it to defrost. Otherwise you'll be weighing the ice and the meat, rather than just the meat.0

Oh thank you I did think this would be the right way to go about it but as I am relatively new to all this I thought best check with someone first.0

chicken may also weigh sligthly more or less when cooked, I always measure my chicken cooked0

but if you're gonna be cooking it in a sauce then its probably just best to weigh it raw, I don't think it should make that much of a difference0
