Making Decisions

When you are making a decision, how do you decide what to do? I always thought that when in doubt, you should just not do anything different. But I'm wondering if this is faulty logic. Were there times in your own life that you had a decision to make and had a lot of doubt of what you should do but went ahead with it anyway and it turned out okay? Or should my doubts be a red flag?

I don't even know if that makes sense!

I'm a big believer in "going with your gut". It hasn't let me down yet. With that said, though, as a behavioral health therapist I've seen many examples of how a person's "gut" would steer them wrong. I typically weigh the pro's v con's, talk it out with people who I trust, and then go with what my gut is telling me.
I remind myself that, as long has my decision doesn't harm myself/anyone else, most decisions can be unmade... at least with some effort.
    Best wishes!
