Cheesy meatballs

Made these for dinner last night and put in light pita with sautéed onions, peppers , added spaghetti sauce and Parmesan

what you need
1/3 cup dry Italian-style bread crumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 jar (26 oz.) BARILLA Tomato & Basil Sauce
make it

MEASURE bread crumbs into medium bowl. Stir in milk. Let stand 15 min. Add meat, 1/4 cup of the cheese, the salt and pepper; mix well.

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Shape meat mixture into 1-inch balls. Place in single layer in foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan.

BAKE 20 min. or until meatballs are cooked through. Meanwhile, heat pasta sauce in small saucepan on medium heat. Transfer meatballs to large platter; top with the sauce. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup cheese.

    I don't know why not... Maybe soak a little longer in milk
