Going for a follow up at the gym next week! yikes!

I started this new fitness plan about two months ago after I suffered a nasty sprained ankle. I signed up for a personal trainer to work around the ankle and discovered that I was overweight and working out inefficiently and ineffectively. I started using TRX and counting my weekly calorie intake. I guess I lost a few pounds. My trainer left at the end of our sessions so I've been working out on my own for the last month. Next week I am going to ask the gym to measure my waist, arms, etc, to see if there are any differences. I am a bit worried because I've seen people get remeasured after months of working out and not seeing any progress.
