Hi I'm new

Hello everyone,
My husband is currently deployed so I am attempting to lose some weight while he is gone. I really want to feel beautiful again and even though he tells me everyday I have a hard time believing it because all i see is a fat person. I lost 15lbs in 2 months but i think most of it was water weight..Any suggestions or tips to help with my weight loss?

  • Thank you for your service and your husbands service. I don't really have any tips since I have only been doing this for two weeks, but keep working hard. You can do it! Congrats on your success so far.

Keep up with what your doing its working so far. I would suggest if your not already doing so some strength training but quick pace workouts to increase the burn. Of course more vegetables and fruit to stay full longer if feeling hungry.

I believe that you have actually lost more than water weight, but before I even get to the tips can i just say that you are beautiful! And i understand that its hard to see because trust me I've been there but even before i started thinking of losing the weight I had to start to love me again which was not at all easy!

    Anyways here are some tips:

try some step aerobics, Its free on youtube by Jenny Ford. I like her because the work out isn't hard, no complicated steps, just endurance. I try to do the 14 minute workout about an hour after breakfast to kick start my metab.

Walking helps too, if you don't feel up to the work out then try a walk out. Walking at a leisurely pace for even 45 minutes adds to your cardio workout for the day.

Cut out all other drinks apart from water and green tea. They purge and flush the toxin and excess waste from your body and keeps you hydrated. Green tea is known to give your metabolism a kick too.

Try not to go over, sometimes when we exercise and the app adds on our daily calorie intake we don't realise we tend to eat more and that stretches our tummy. We don't have to eat more than what is required.

Try juicing, this gives your body more veg and fruit that you can actually eat at once which gives our body a good clean boost.

Get a colonic, it sounds dirty but most of us women carry so much waste which causes our tummy to bloat, especially if we eat a lot of past rice and bread.

Try to cut our bread and sugars. eat more pineapples and prunes, drink hot lemon/lime water first thing in the morning and last thing before bed.

I'm no pro but that's just some of the things that work for me so far ^.^
    hope that helped you!

Hello! Nice to meet you :) This site is def a place to accomplish your goals. :) Be sure to track all of your food that is the best start :) Making ourselves aware of the calories and what we put in our body is the first step :) Once you have your food down start exercising. I started small since i could barely walk at my heaviest. I started out 5 minutes a day built up to an hour then increased the pace, eventually moved to a gym, and now I am doing crossfit. That progression took 3 years but as long as you are doing something that is getting your heartrate up it is helping :)
