Do any of the walk calorie tracking apps actually take elevation and grade into account?
I don't care which app has the best social features or anything else, I just want something that will turn my walks into calories.
Runtastic, despite showing a nice map with elevation or grade, doesn't seem to account for hills climbed in the calorie count.
I can walk up a hill, then later walk down, and get an identical calorie count for both, if the speed is the same.
The only time it changes is if I walk down slightly faster than I walk up, then Runtastic thinks I burned more walking downhill because I walked faster, even though it was loads easier.
Do Runkeeper, Endemondo or MapMyWalk do any better?
