I cannot afford to throw out the food in my cabinet. How do you continue to eat healthy and not be so tempted when the people around you eat mainly, ramen noodles, hotdogs, chips, etc.? Now I am the CEO of this household and there is always atleast one vegetable at every meal (my mom did this growing up), but between fixing their meals and then mine it is sometimes exhausting. I thought about maybe trying to prepare my meals a week at a time...has anyone tried this?

I think you'll find that anyone that is serious about their fitness goals prepares their meals ahead of time. I usually do mine on a sunday for the next 3-4 days which usually consists of Chicken marinated in BBQ sauce with rice and a bit of mixed veg. It takes an hour to do and is very little effort.

I make my weekly meals on Sundays :) Its my down day and I work long hours during the week. I usually make a pot of some kind of soup and freeze it for my lunches. Then I make some protien. I will usually do 2 chicken and 2 turkey or pork then make veggies on the side. I freeze those also in lunch containers :) Or I do a big stirfry and freeze it for dinner :) By doing this it saves me time I dont have during the week and gives me no reason to grab something on the go :) It's already done and there i just have to open the freezer :)
