Benefiber

I feel like a lot of my weight is due to my digestion. Even though drinking is no longer a complete issue I still feel blocked up. Does this product work? I have already bought some so I will also give some updates. I really am just constipated. It's uncomfortable. In my mind that's where my extra pounds are hiding. I try to get my fiber in through apples and broccoli, but lately it's been difficult getting that into my diet. Ate out a couple times this week too. Had quite a bit of sodium too. Energy drinks have really been my crutch. Summer is so busy with the kids home.

It's just a fiber supplement, and a pretty low-fiber one. But it's nice because it's clear. It doesn't do much for me but I often take it to up my fiber.

I don't know how much weight loss can 'hide' in constipation but you might have bloating and water weight hiding some fat loss.

Maybe try a stronger laxative, for the short term, just to see. I like Smooth Move tea. It has senna, which they give you before a colonoscopy, or so I've heard and read.

You can try it and see if it helps, may take a few days.

Bump up produce to increase fibre. Tons of leafy greens and such. When upping fibre, make sure you increase your water intake as well since not getting enough water will be counterproductive. Sometimes regular exercise helps as well.

Increase water as much as you can to see if that helps.

I use magnesium supplements. 800 mg usually works for me. Look for mag oxide or mag chloride in the vitamin section.
I also eat flax seeds (ground) or chia seeds, although if haven't lately due to the amount of calories.
I found Metamucil is too many calories and I hate the taste. Not sure how many calories been full contains.
Unsweetened Metamucil or plain psyllium would be options, too.
If I'm really good about eating tons of veggies it ceases to be an issue.
