Achilles Tendonopothy...

Hi I have Achilles tendonopothy, which I am receiving physiotherapy for. I'm struggling to exercise for weight loss on top of physio exercises as my Achilles is so sore. Any ideas for cardio that won't put too much pressure on my ankles? Thamks

I've got shin splints, but I'm not sure if this will apply to your condition. I found swimming was quite easy and relatively pain free.

I suffer(ed) from Achilles tendonopothy also. I was pretty lame last year. Walking was tough, but I found biking was doable. I also iced 3-4 times a day, including immediately after my bike ride. Start with a short ride (1-2 miles) and see how it tolerates. Then you can increase your distance gradually.

Also I had to stick to my physical therapy exercises religiously. Took a good 9 months to get over.
