Has made everything too salty or too sweet for me. Which means I will have to make my own food more often.

I started at MFP to watch my sodium so my doc didn't mediate me. I went back after two months and got a clean bill of health. Making me own food has become a good side effect to this process because it was impossible to find soup and lunch meat that was low sodium and tasty. The low sodium soups were too bland. Now I make everything from pita chips to chili at home so I can still eat the foods I love. Enjoy the journey.0

I've had to make my own recipes for a lot of things as well. I even have great recipes for what otherwise would be known as hamburger helper, but they are lower in salt and fat (without preservatives, too) and they taste great. Another reason why I love this website!0
